
Hi, I’m Ishani Nigam. As a master’s student pursuing Marketing Communications at the University of Melbourne, my passion for student development, leadership and public speaking took shape while working here as a peer mentor and a student club leader. I love to work on projects that compel me to utilise marcom knowledge and video creation skills. So, I aim to empower young leaders, students and recent graduate by sharing my experiences through videos, podcast and informative blogs.

Ishani is a creative strategist, peer mentor, public speaker, doodle artist, trained Bollywood dancer, an aspiring campaign developer and a leader based in Melbourne, Australia.
She is currently pursuing Masters of Marketing Communications, from The University of Melbourne, and is expected to graduate in December 2020. She completed her Bachelors in Design from India’s premier design Institute, National Institute of Fashion Technology in 2016. She was bestowed with ‘The Most Meritorious Student’ award for her innovative ideas and consistent performance.
At present she works as a tutor at The Queen’s residential college, and as a marketing communication intern at Imagineering 2 a Better World, which provides life and career coaching services. She is an active volunteer, a peer mentor and the co-founder of a student club called Society of Marketing Communications, known as SMAC, at Unimelb. As the Vice-President of SMAC, Ishani strives to create opportunities for members to enhance their employability and career development skills.
Previously, she worked as a digital marketing coordinator at The Art Encounters , a premiere art school based out of Melbourne, and volunteered as a student partner for the Aussie English program in the capacity of a creative strategist.
Besides these initiatives, she likes to express her views on society and self development through her doodles and videos. These platforms give her the opportunities to hone her public speaking skills and encourage her to give back to society through her creative ideas.
